I have to say, the power of storytelling and the power of relationships are instrumental to success.
How so?
Take the other day, when I MC’d director Tim Burton receiving his Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame with love from Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, Danny Devito and Monica Belucci in attendance.
It’s always fun to MC such a fantastic event with my Hollywood friends, shutting down Hollywood Blvd with thousands of fans lining the street in support of such an incredible director.
BTW — why did thousands of fans show up… on a Tuesday at 11am (some from halfway around the world) to support Burton?
Because of his unique and incredible storytelling — resulting in such iconic films Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, Nightmare Before Christmas and so much more.
Tim built an incredible community of loyal fans and the community shows up.
At the end of the day, a community is only as good as its storytelling.
I built my career on it (more than 12,000 pieces of content) and I am blessed to have interviewed some of the most creative people in the world.
The connection is always storytelling.
It’s why I’m incredibly excited to be a part of the mission and the message behind The VIVA Code.
To be surrounded by incredibly high-achieving women who believe in the power of relationships, of lifting up each other to unlock opportunities — is inspirational.
It’s a great story to tell as The VIVA Code community continues to grow and prosper.
